If you’re working in the construction industry, you need to complete a general construction induction training course with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). PM Squared is authorised by Qld Safe Work to issue White Cards.

This training will give you a basic knowledge of:

  • work health and safety laws
  • common site hazards and
  • how to control the associated risks.

The unit you need to complete is: CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.

Once you’ve successfully completed this unit, the RTO will issue you with your general construction induction training card  (previously called a white card). You must keep this with you whenever you are on site.
